BARBARA WINDSOR says EastEnders bosses have been trying to get her to return – and she says she’s TEMPTED.
Babs, who played landlady Peggy Mitchell in the soap for 16 years, left in 2010 due to ill health.
But chatting with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning, she admitted producers had asked her to return to Walford.
She said: “I miss EastEnders. I loved it. But I was exhausted when I left. They asked me to go back recently – they’ve asked a few times.
“I am tempted! But my husband Scott says you have to really think about it. Because, towards the end, I was so exhausted and not sleeping at night.
“I’m not quite ready for it.”
